Poshanic is the nutrition practice of Sujetha Shetty, clinical dietician and sports nutritionist, based in Bengaluru, India ("Poshanic", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use poshanicbyshetty.com or work with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Information we collect

• Enquiry details. When you use the form on our website, you share your name, phone number, the program you're interested in and, optionally, your goals. The form doesn't store anything on our website. It opens WhatsApp with your message filled in, and we only receive it if you choose to send it.
• Messages you send us by WhatsApp, email or phone.
• Health and lifestyle information that you choose to share if you become a client. This can include your medical history, blood reports, body composition, diet, training and menstrual or hormonal health. This is sensitive information, and we collect it only to build your nutrition plan.
• Basic, anonymous website statistics such as page views, the country you're visiting from and your device type. These are collected through Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or identify individual visitors.

How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and recommend a suitable program.
• To assess your needs, create and adjust your diet plan, and support you through follow-up calls and WhatsApp.
• To schedule consultations and share invoices or payment details.
• To keep records that we're required to keep by law.

We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't use your health information for marketing. We'll only share a testimonial or progress photo with your clear, written permission.

Who we share it with

We share your information only when it's needed to provide our services:

• Communication tools. WhatsApp (Meta), email and phone services carry our conversations with you. They handle your information under their own privacy policies.
• Website hosting. Our website is hosted on Cloudflare. The website also loads fonts from Google Fonts and images from Unsplash, which may see your IP address as part of a normal web request.
• Healthcare professionals, such as your doctor, coach or team physio, but only if you ask us to or agree to it.
• Authorities, if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages for as long as needed to respond and follow up. We keep client records for the duration of your program and for a reasonable period afterwards, to support you if you return and to meet legal and professional obligations. After that, we delete them securely. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see "Your rights" below).

How we protect it

We limit access to your information to the people who need it to support you, and we use reasonable security measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work hard to keep your information safe.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

• ask what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
• ask us to correct, complete or update your information;
• withdraw your consent and ask us to delete your information, unless we're required by law to keep it;
• nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf;
• raise a grievance with us, and with the Data Protection Board of India if it isn't resolved.

Children

We work with young athletes through their parents, guardians, schools or academies. We only collect information about anyone under 18 with consent from their parent or guardian.
